The painting "Madonna of the Magnificat", by the Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510) is a tondo (a round painting) representing the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus accompanied by 3 angels looking like beautiful teen boys with long curly hair. Two angels sustain an open book. Virgin Mary has blonde hair and writes in the open book. dipping her quill in an inkwell. Baby Jesus is in her lap, looking towards the sky and reaching the book with his hand. There are golden rays coming from above or from the heads of the characters. The painting has a golden wood frame with floral decorations. The painting is in the public domain.

I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her.
