Boston Beaneaters Key Ring

In 1871, members of the disband “Cincinnati Red Stockings” became the “Boston Red Stockings” who were also called the “Red Caps” until 1883 when they became the “Beaneaters”. The nickname changed in 1907 to the “Doves”, to the “Rustlers” in 1911 and then in 1912, they became the “Braves” which became the “Bees” in 1935 then back again to the “Braves” five years later. In 1953, the team moved to Milwaukee but relocated again in 1966 to Atlanta. They are the oldest continuously operating professional sports franchise in North America.
