Here's Boris, the sweetest boy dog ever, with a still life of equine themed items. There's a saddle, boots, ribbons, a brush, a hunt cap, and a book open to one of my favourite paintings by the great horse painter, Sir Alfred Munnings, among other things. The owners of this painting are also the owners of one of Boris' sons, a handsome boy named Basil! I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
