A folk art American flag painted on a wooden pallet hangs on the side of a boat house at a Midwestern lake. It's missing a few stars and stripes, but it's definitely charming.
The official flag, adopted in 1960 with the arrival of Hawaii to the union, consists of thirteen horizontal stripes alternating red and white; in the canton, 50 white stars of alternating numbers of six and five per horizontal row on a blue field. Thirteen stripes symbolise the original colonies and 50 stars stand for the number of states in the union.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
