Blue Turkish Iznik Tile Pattern Mouse Pad
Turquoise Blue Turkish Iznik antique Ottoman Tile Design in an intricate repeating Pattern on a laptop case.
The design is based on Tiles in the Rustem Pasha Mosque in Turkey from the Ottoman period. Spiral pinwheel pattern with ornamental leaves and little plum flowers along with traditional geometric patterns decorate the case.. The turquoise colours on this case are repeated creating an intricate interlocking pattern.. Dark blue, many shades of turquoise, coral red. Perfect for aficionados of the Mediterranean look.
From an antique slightly offset print, which adds it's own character to this tile patterned case - derived from a Turkish traditional design and updated into a sophisticated style.
If you've been to Turkey and seen Topkapi Palace or the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, you appreciate these designs. If you haven't been lucky enough to visit those places, you can still dream and hope to go there one day.

The experience buying from Zazzle was great -- the custom made product arrived much faster than I expected (I am in Australia) and they kept me updated with progress emails.
The product itself is good quality and I like the simplistic elegant design. The only criticism I have is that it's not really accurately represented by the picture provided. I thought that the mousepad would be a non-porous or laminate surface and as such the gold writing would actually shine against the soft pink. However the design is printed on a thick fabric surface, so the gold colour is just the shade of gold but doesn't stand out from the pink background. (See picture)
FYI the soft pink is stronger in real life than in my personal picture. Good quality printing, slightly different look to what I expected. It also smells quite strong on arrival but it's only been a day so this may fade.
