Blue Sharks Eating Fish, Vintage Marine Life

Vintage illustration marine life aquatic design featuring blue sharks stalking and eating fish in the sea. The blue shark (Prionace glauca) is a species of requiem shark the lives in the deep waters of the ocean. Blue sharks have long pectoral fins, the top of their body is a deep blue which gradually gets lighter on the sides and their underside is white. From the Victorian Era book 'The Royal Natural History' (1894) by Richard Lydekker, artist and illustrator: PJ Smit.
