This beautiful early winter photographic landscape postcard features a breathtaking view of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains from high atop Jump Off Rock in the town of Laurel Park, NC, located in the south western North Carolina mountains. Upon this 3,100 foot summit overlook on Echo Mountain near Hendersonville in Henderson county North Carolina is a panoramic scenic mountain view. According to legend in a hauntingly beautiful tale, from this rock ledge a young maiden jumped off upon hearing of the death in battle of the Cherokee Indian tribal chief she loved.
