The brilliant blue hues of this blue jay's feathers stand out boldly against the white background of this simple, yet interesting Christmas card. It would make a lovely card for a special friend, especially one who enjoys birdwatching. I was inspired to paint this blue jay because of "Bertie", one of the many blue jays who come to visit us daily. The inside of the card reads, "Wishing you a hopeful holiday season this year", and there is a smaller image of a blue jay below.
