A favourite of ukiyo-e artist, a lovely blue iris with a pair of moorhens. Ohara Koson was a Japanese painter and woodblock print designer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, at the forefront of the shin-hanga art movements, which focused on flower and nature art.
