Blue Green Agave Plant in Desert Mountains Arizona Poster

I only hiked a very small portion of it. It is on the Apache Trail near tiny tourist town of Tortilla Flat, located in Tonto National Forest. Agave plants, also called Century Plants due to the mistaken belief that it takes 100 years to bloom (it's more like 10-25 years, depending on the variety, and they die after blooming) are a common sight in this area.
