Arg is the all-black cat who lives next door to my sister. An opportunist, he stops by for treats, but also for affection. In this photograph, he is lying contentedly in the garden, his tail straight out and parallel with his also outstretched front paws. Under and around him s brown mulch, with a few fallen, light tan bamboo leaves In the upper left corner are some green leaves, and on them are written the words, "Birthday Wishes" in white lettering. Arg's bright green eyes stand out in his black face. He invites petting and, I may add, is as soft as he looks! Copyright Gail Storrs 2011.
