This abstract image of this lily was painted from a photograph that I took of a pretty lily growing in my garden, I digitally enhanced the photo to become one mass of black and white shapes, I then gathered my soft pastels together and painted this abstract lily picture. I used soft pastel because it’s a favourite medium of mine and it gives the painting a “soft” and slightly “fuzzy” look and feel.
