black and brown puppy with stocking for christmas holiday card

This cute little black and brown mixed breed puppy is eagerly awaiting a visit from Santa Claus to fill his Christmas red and green stripped christmas stocking with lots of gifts and other doggy goodies. He's wearing a very cute fur trimmed red santa hat with a sprig of holly and red berries. The puppy in the illustration is based on my own German Shepherd/collie dog crossbreed, he was one of the happiest little dogs anyone could ever wish for, a best friend and a constant companion. His name was Eddie (Edward when he was a naughty boy) This puppy illustration makes a cute and original Mum Christmas card. The greeting card has a short but loving sentiment non-rhyming verse I'm sure he'll put a smile on the face of all moms during the Christmas holiday time. The original puppy illustration is painted in watercolour. He partners well with the Christmas kitten who's stealing cream from the Christmas pudding.
