Jewish cloth cover for the prayer stand (shtender) or bimah. The beautiful tiles in hue of blue feature the Magen David, Star of David and wraps around the Hebrew text for the Shiviti, I have set the LORD (Adonai) before me always, Psalm 16:8. This cover depicts the Holy Name of G-d and therefore should NOT be used as a kitchen towel or in any way that might desecrate the Name. Proper rules of genizah must be adhered to.

I ordered this Shiviti cloth as a dust cover for my husband's bookstand where he stands to pray. It's large enough to cover his Bible and prayer book. My husband loves this cover and he says he is now reminded to put God before him when he prays, as per the words on the cover. The Shiviti cover brought some extra spirituality into our home. Thank you! The intricate tile border is beautiful and the colors are very vivid. The Hebrew letters are also very clear and easy to read.
