As a Canadian I say eh all the time, eh. It's pronounced like a long "a" as in "ay" or "late". It's often lampooned by Americans and also Canadians, as we like to poke at ourselves too, eh? and was especially promoted by comedians Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas, who created the famous and funny Canadian stereotype characters Bob and Doug McKenzie.
