Bifrenaria harrisoniae is an orchid species native to Brazil. They grow on almost vertical, rocky cliffs, facing east. Jean Jules Linden was a 19th century Belgian botanist, explorer, horticulturist and businessman. He specialised in orchids and travelled the world documenting the flowers, painting / illustrating them and writing several books about the gorgeous plant.
