Bicycles and Peace Collage Art Card

This special piece of collage art was inspired by handwritten text of Tolstoy's "War and Peace"...and a lot more. Inspiration also came from recalling the story that Tolstoy learned to ride a bike at age 67. You can see the print of the manuscript as the background of the vintage bicycles image. Other elements include the peace symbols, the dove and the olive branch, and other imagery associated with peace. On the dark blue paper in the top left is a ghost image of Tolstoy. This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
