King Herod ordered the wise men to seek the Christ child and offer him gifts. But finding a child in the middle of the desert seemed to be a very tall order. They went out at dusk, and saw a shining star in the sky. It shone brightly in the clear night sky, it seemed to have created a pathway of light. They followed this light and by some miracle, the light shined down on this small child, and they finally found him. Offering him a few fine gifts, and bowing down to him, they stayed the night. They all had a dream, the same dream, a dream that told them that the child is in danger. The king, the terrible king was going to murder the child. So as the baby slept, they and his mother all fled to Nazareth. Telling the king they never found the child, and protected him from harm.
