Belle of Bonaventure - the first in my "Southern Gothic" series of paintings. I painted this right after a hauntingly beautiful stay in Savannah, Georgia and a wonderful visit to the magnificent Bonaventure Cemetery. My "Southern Gothic" series focuses on the historic, beautiful, and haunted aspects of the American South. Buy it! Perfect for display near your winding staircase or library... An awesome artist's vision provokes the following: Lantern in hand, I exit the carriage and follow her through the gates. Our driver watches from under his hooded cloak as the horses snort and fidget through their bridles. Our glowing globe of lamp light encompasses us into the darkness of the graveyard. Within the myriad of tombs and shrines she stops her chase and turns slowly. Her gaze chills me as she stands fixed upon the ground. Twas then that her name flickered with the candle light across the headstone behind her on the edge of my vision. Excellent - as expected and rewarded with.

Did the person that printed this even look at the scratches and horrible printing job on this?? it looks like it ran out of ink through the printing and still shipped it like that!!!! HORRIBLE!! I've been happy till now, now I'm worried about ordering anymore prints.
