J.Nemezys Beauty of Wilderness Original Painting. This mixed media painting features a pair of kingfishers and a bonsai plant. What the kingfisher symbolises attracts me to them. Kingfisher is said to be the first bird to fly from Noah's Ark after the deluge. The orange colour on its breast is supposedly gained from the setting sun while the blue on its back is from the sky. It is believed to be a symbol of peace, promising prosperity and love.
