Bear Is My Brother Cherokee Ornament

In legend, bears were once a Cherokee clan. They are our relatives. This ornament's design recognises that by having a bear paw with the Cherokee word for bear (Yonah) in the paw and layering it over the colours of the Circle of Life passing through the Four Directions. These symbols have deep roots in Cherokee Indian lore. Yellow, Red, Black, and White are traditional Sacred Colours. On the back of the ornament are the words "Bear is my Brother".

I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her.
