A selection of 12 quality photos of avians of the San Francisco Bay Area. Each photo is labelled with the species name in English and Latin. The 2011 Calendar has been updated with 75% new content. The cover art depicts a Forster's Tern feeding it's chick. Forster's Terns feed by dropping beak first into a body of water and snagging a fish. They're fast and difficult to photograph unless you can one hovering, flying out of a lake, or in this case, feeding it's young.
