Battling Kites -- Blue Satin Ribbon

I have different version of this piece and I can't decide which one I like the most. It certainly took a lot of time to make each kite individually. I love the way the kites all swirl together yet they remain free and not all tangled. Notice the fine detail and the unique colouring, patterns and shapes of each of the kites. Another version has a grey sky and a third has a black ground to make the colours stand out even more. If you look at my artwork you will notice the one consistency is the lack of consistency. I try to make each piece different from all the others. With each piece I try something new and try to learn something in the process making each piece a process of self discovery.
