I bought this print in the largest size it comes in for a very specific reason, everytime i look at it, it reminds me of the moment when America ceased being smacked around and decided it would put it's own destiny in it's own hands. And I recall that it has ever since. I now see this every time i walk in my living room. Even blown up to 60x40, the clarity is astounding and this serves as the perfect center-piece to the subtle patriot with an eye towards history and may, just may, hope to be asked "what's this painting of"? Word to the wise, if you plan to frame something this large, cost is a big factor. I had it foam boarded and that still cost more than the print itself. Great solution if you want to take up a whole wall. As mentioned above, even blown up to its largest size, the clarity is astounding. I was slightly worried this would not be the case, but I was gladly mistaken.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
