Barcelona is a spanish city and among many things it known for its colourful cement tiles. These tile form patterns, sometimes geometric, on floors and wall. The first layer applied is the colour pattern and the second, thicker, layer is the grey cement layer. Then they are pressed together. The top pattern layer is fused with the bottom cement layer. This type of tile is very durable.
