Colorized photo from 1942 Original Title: Mr. Pennepacker, one of seven barbers in town Location: Lilitz, PA This is Mr. Pennepacker and this is his barbershop. Since the war started, he has had sixty less haircuts a month since the boys left town. Now that he has some free time, he became an air raid warden, to do his part in the war. And the boy is his sidekick - Shoe shine boy.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
