Badlands Jigsaw Puzzle
The natural beauty of the badlands is put on display in this photo. Badlands National Park is located in South Dakota and is a geologic wonder of eroding buttes, spires and pinnacles. Colourful bands of rock strata make up a panoramic view of the rugged landscape as the sun casts shadows that fill the crevasses, fissures and cracks. Parallel striations and ridges paint the landscape in layers of reds, browns, tans, and grey colours resulting in a spectacular view of the rocky outcropping of rocks. The green of mixed grass prairie of the National Grasslands is visible in the foreground. Traces of white clouds can be seen in a clear blue sky.

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
