Any mad scientist - and by that, I mean any OTHER mad scientist - will tell you that it's not enough to cackle and prance insanely around the lab. Some lab assistants just don't get the hint.
So when going "Muahaha!" doesn't cut it; when Igor (or Igette) simply won't leave you alone with your mastodon/cuttlefish hybrid, your Dissolvo Ray, or your mind-melting Psycho-Cyclotron, just state the obvious.
Back off. I'm doing SCIENCE.
Posting this prominently in the workplace almost guarantees that you'll never have to lift your head from your beakers, retorts and burners to wonder what this "social skills" business is really all about. And why bother? They'll be all going into the cages later, anyway.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
