St. James Church in the National trust village of Avebury, Wiltshire, UK The church has a long history going back to Saxon times, it contains a, once hidden, mediaeval rood-loft and a font believed to be of Saxon origin with some interesting carving added during the Norman period. Originally this church was built without aisles, these were added in the twelfth century in the Norman style, wider aisles were built and the tower added in the fifteenth century.

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!! a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
