Part brainteaser, part assemble-it-yourself art, this challenging, outdoors-themed puzzle is great for improving muscle memory. Birding the great outdoors in the Pacific Northwest as autumn started to turn the summer green golden brought me to this trio of horses--a grey, a chestnut, and a dark bay--who clearly found the photographer so fascinating that they momentarily stopped grazing and placed themselves by the fence posts to observe me.
