Audubon's Cuvier's Kinglet Mystery Bird Glass Tree Decoration

Audubon described the bird as having a dark forehead with striped markings similar to the Golden-crowned Kinglet, but with a striking red crown. Its resemblance to both the Ruby-crowned and Golden-crowned Kinglets has left ornithologists debating whether it was a unique species, a hybrid, or perhaps a bird that has since gone extinct.
