A pyromaniac is somebody who feels a compulsion to set fire to all sorts of things. And while a librarian won’t have any intent to see a library ablaze, she or he tends to delight in kindling the flame of knowledge in the seeker of book lore. Hence inspired, I created my design called Pyromaniac Librarian. The typography is reminiscent of the fonts of a typewriter. Eight freehand pencil sketches transform books into vestas, a single kitchen match, a box of matches, a candle stand and other flammable objects. The sketchy artwork is a metaphor for the process of igniting ideas and initiating a cultured debate. This unassuming, asphalt grey coloured iPhone case allows to add up to three name initials on the front cover.
