"Aspen Hideaway" Gazebo, Autumn Poster

I found this gazebo in the forest near some cabins in Hope Valley, CA. It was a truly stunning scene which I hopefully have captured here. Hope Valley features towering pine trees, the Carson river running through meadows and is surrounded by tall mountain peaks. However, what really makes this place special is the Quaking Aspen trees and their vibrant fall colours. This is what draws thousands of people here each Autumn.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
