Black and White Tree - This art nouveau tree is a vintage tree pattern drawn by Art Nouveau illustrator Aubrey Beardsley (1872-1898). The image of the tree is in black and white, initially used as a book illustration. Trees were a recurring theme in the art nouveau era, from 1890 to 1910, when there was a return to nature, strong graphic line, and images that reminded the art nouveau artists of mediaeval etchings.

I originally ordered 1 tie to test and ensure I liked it with the suits we had ordered! The tie came and it was perfect! We loved it! The colours were bright and the tie was beautifully made. I then ordered the 6 additional ties and the colours are slightly different. The 6 ties were a little less vibrant and the white background was slightly different!
