Vintage illustration Art Nouveau advertising poster design featuring Divan Japonais by Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, 1893. The Victorian advertisement painting was commissioned by Edouard Fournier, owner of the Montmartre bar and night club Divan Japonais. The Café du Divan Japonais restaurant nightclub featured exotic touches such as bamboo furniture and paper lanterns in the Japanese style. It was included in the Les Maitres de l'Affiche (Masters of the Poster) series of 256 color lithographic plates used to create a very significant art publication during the Belle Époque in Paris, France.

Turned this into a lockdown activity with my partner for our anniversary. I got the 110 pieces since neither of us are big on puzzles. It's was just one of the nice little fun activities we did together. Probably took 30 minutes all up. We're gona frame it and keep it as a memory. The quality of the print was fine. Our teeth look like they stick out a bit just due to the the shape of the pieces around our teeth. But no problems.
