Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love stands before the door of a small ornate temple. Dressed in a flowing white gown, she glances over her shoulder at you as if the beckon you inside. Beside her stands a swan one of her symbols.
Known by the Romans as Venus, she is sometimes identified as the daughter of Zeus, but also is said to have risen from the sea where the severed genitals of Uranus were thrown by Chronus. She is the goddess of love, lust, beauty, pleasure, passion, procreation, and prostitutes. She is married to the blacksmith god Hephaestus (Vulcan).

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
