It has been coloured in tones that complement it's age and the timeless nature of the design. and tiled to form a simple but elegant pattern. The Fleur-de-lis is a stylised lily: a common symbol, with a wide range of symbolic meanings, ranging from the country and monarchy of France, Joan of Arc, the crown jewellery of England and Scotland, spirtual trinity concepts, the Virgin Mary, numerous coats of arms, and Boy Scouting.
