This vintage piggy drawing is from an antique book from the late 1800s, showing two little piggies, fat and happy. The sweet little swine drawing was done in pen and ink. We've updated the cute pig drawing, adding a bit of piggy color, and then some of our pig gifts have a paisley damask background, because after all, pigs can be dressed up quite nicely! One vintage piggy has a scrunched-in face perhaps like a pot belly pig, while the other little pig has a pronounced snout so it looks a little like a boar. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
