Antique Celestial Moon Goddess & Ursa Major Bear Coffee Mug
Step into a whimsical cosmos with this authentic 1840s vintage celestial illustration depicting mythological gods and starry constellations in high-contrast black-and-white line art. In this imaginative Victorian engraving, the Roman Moon Goddess Luna clings to her crescent moon while evading Ursa Major (the Great Bear constellation) covered in glowing stars. Below, Mars walks by as a armoured Roman soldier while Mercury relaxes on a distant mountain peak reading "the gazette." With its eerie, surreal, and dark academia aesthetic, this starry night sky print makes a fascinating focal point for home offices, stargazing nooks, libraries, nurseries, or gallery walls. An extraordinary gift for astronomers, mythology lovers, and collectors of rare vintage woodcut engravings.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee.
Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
