Classic Vintage Anthony and Cleopatra Kissing and in Love The classic lovers Anthony and Cleopatra are perhaps the world's most famous couple in love. This beautiful lovers image of Anthony and Cleopatra was created in 1902 by famous illustrator J.C. Leyendecker. The two lovers are entwined, she's in the front of him, both face outward towards us as they stand and kiss. Anthony and Cleopatra are dressed beautifully, and the whole image is impeccable Art Nouveau stylised art from the turn of the last century. Cleopatra's gown is gorgeous - gold and blue art nouveau patterns and clingy material; the pattern is almost peacock-like. Anthony is wearing gold and white.
