Angels: Detail of Pastel Drawings Calendar

This popular calendar features angel drawings and paintings by Colorado artist Linda Armstrong. Most are pastels. Some are on paper. Others are on stretched and gessoed polyester lining fabric. These angels were real people--artists' models--drawn from life. Of course, the wings, halos, and gowns were added or modified from imagination, influenced by tradition. The drawings have been sized to fill the page, so only part of each work is visible. You can size the images down so the entire drawing shows, if you wish. Then, you can add your own text on the side or change the background colour. Zazzle now automatically updates the interior dates, but you can choose your own start month and year if you like.
