I love "Old Hickory", what a hard-ass. General Jackson whooped the British at the Battle of New Orleans, and he did it almost a month after the War of 1812 was over. In 1835 a deranged house-painter tried to assassinate President Jackson, but both his pistols misfired. The President then started beating the man with his cane until his aides restrained him. How funny is that?

The mousepad is nice and thick, and the grippy bottom keeps it in place on my desk. The fabric on the face is a little fuzzy, but it's not super detracting. Great quality of printing. The image is as-expected (go Andrew Jackson!), did not bleed on the white background, and will likely last for a good, long time.
