Big, scary, muscular troll with long black hair in moody brown tones. A large silver knife, fork and spoon dangle from his wrist. Illustration by John Bauer from the poem by Gustaf Fröding ”Ett gammalt bergtroll”. Translation: “An old mountain troll”. ”Ett gammalt bergtroll” is from “Spray and Tabs”, a collection of poems published in 1896.
