American Indian smoke signals Clock
The Smoke Signal 1905 Frederic Remington
Smoke signals were used to notify of incursions by hostile tribes, or to arrange meetings between hunting parties of the same tribe.
Frederic Remington was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor, and writer who specialised in Western American art. His works depict the Western United States in the last quarter of the 19th century and featured cowboys, American Indians, and the US Cavalry. Remington was born in Canton, New York on October 4, 1861 and died near Ridgefield, Connecticut on December 26, 1909. He found inspiration in these subjects from an early age.

It looks lovely. It's a gift for a July anniversary so I can't vouch for working order as yet. Lovely colours and printing. Everything spelled correctly which is a bonus these days!
