An Amateur (later named "Coachman and Cabbages") (1870) by Frederick Walker is a vintage Victorian Era realism fine art agricultural painting. A farming and agriculture scene with beautiful autumn colors with the fall foliage. A portrait of a farmer, a man in the vegetable garden on a farm about to pick some cabbages with his dalmatian dog waiting patiently at the garden gate.

Frederick Walker (1840-1875) was an English social realist painter and illustrator.

I bought this as a little extra gift for my friend for her suprise bridal shower as we were doing a clay making class so it was to protect her outfit! But it’s so beautiful she is also going to keep it for her kitchen (she loves baking).
