Alphonse Mucha Winter mouse pad. Oil painting on canvas from 1896. Czech painter Alphonse Mucha depicted allegorical representations of the four seasons multiple times throughout his career. This version of Winter is from a series completed in 1896 and features a pretty young woman draped in an arctic blue robe with a hood covering her light brown hair. She sands beneath a snow covered trees sheltering a little bird in her hands. Three other tiny birds sit in the branches as a winter storm rises. A beautiful gift for fans of Mucha, art nouveau, and vintage art.
