This particular version of Autumn is from a series painted in 1896 and feautures a beautiful young woman with dark red hair adorned with white chrysanthemums. She wears a thin blue dress and stand in a vineyard. In her left hand she holds a porcelain dish, and in her right she squeezes a fresh bunch of purple grapes still on the vine.
