Designed by South Carolina artisan, Amy Kuhl Cox, this poster has beautiful illustrations made with pen and batik fabrics to accompany words, ordered by the alphabet. Special care was taken to make sure that all words begin with their appropriate phonetic sound, for example "igloo" versus "ice cream". Also no phonetic blends appear at the beginnings of words. This bright and colourful poster would be perfect in a classroom, a nursery, a child's room, or as a teacher gift.
