About This Design

Alluvial Fan Logo Round Clock

Alluvial Fan Logo Round Clock

This brown geology clock features a sketch of an alluvial fan as a round, colourful logo. The circular design includes a low sun rising over a mountain range with a large alluvial fan. Most noticeable in the desert, an alluvial fan is a large fan-shaped pile of alluvium (sediment) that is washed out of mountains by water. This would be a great gift for your favourite sedimentologist or neotectonicist.

I was decorating a bedroom for a young soccer fan and this was an ideal accessory. The young man loves it. Excellent printing and easy to read for a 9 year old.
