Allium card (blank)

Allium (Ornamental onion) grow from bulbs on tall stalks and have round flower heads composed of dozens of star-shaped flowers. They are not edible, but their onion smell makes them animal resistant. Generally the flowers are purple, but there a lot of other colours (and sizes!), too; most bloom in Spring, but there are some Fall bloomers as well.
